I took ballet classes when I was young, but then entered folklorico (a dance Mexican) and sticks to the skin for about 3 years. I finally stopped dancing at the age of 11 years and I'm really not that more flexible: (I want to start dancing ballet and I thought for a few years now. I think its so beautiful and graceful, but I am also aware that ballet accomplish that through the years and years of hard work. I do not want to pursue a career in ballet or anything, I want to dance as a hobby I could really take. How can I go to find beginner classes for my age? How many classes per week should I have in order to really see an improvement?

I know a girl who is 15, who started ballet this year. Our studio classes only BASSEDAS age, not skill, so you might want to try to find a studio like that.If you start again, you may want to try stretching before your first class.
